E L E G A N C E in B L A C K

pictures by: Aleksandra Rochowczyk

Blazer: Topshop; Top/Scarf: H&M; Skirt: Aqua; Shoes: Asos

So I´m standing in front of my wardrobe and my friends are waiting outside in the car for me. Of course I am too late, like always. I´m wearing my black Aqua skirt, I know which shoes I´m going to wear and I know that I will put on my blazer.

BUT

which top? So here I was, in a hurry and not knowing which top to combine with this outfit. Suddenly this black H&M scarf starred at me and I had this little vision of wrapping it around my upper body.

Here we are, Do-It-Yourself always works out :)

Turtleneck: Zara; Skirst: Asos; Shoes: Asos

Autumn is knocking on our doors as the temparatures are dropping from day to day. But we won´t let this ruin our mood. So motivate yourself for some fashionalbe but still warm clothing. Turtleneck, skirt and tights make it possible.

Menswear

pictures by: Aleksandra Rochowczyk

Shirt: Asos; Jumper: H&M; High Heels: Zara; Earrings: Lilly Bling / Primark

I walked through the H&M Men section and stopped right in front of this amazing jumper. Black, simple, great shape and good material. Only 15 Pound poorer I walked out of the store and wore it yesterday with my overzised shirt from ASOS. Earrings and ring from Primark gave my outfit a bit of colour and uniqueness.

So I can definitely say that every now and then a men´s wardrobe can be a great solution for us ladies.

Hope you like my combination :)

Hamsa

Jumper: Boy London; Dress: Asos; Sneakers: Nike / Air Force One

Ohhh, look what I found. Some pictures my wonderful cousin Lina took of me when I was in Germany for my Sister´s wedding in June. I totally forgot to upload them. It was a nice and sunny day but couldn´t really leave the house without my old Boy London - Jumper.

I don´t know about you but I am still a bit superstitious sometimes. Blue Eye and Fatima´s Hand are one of the most well known things known for protecting you from the evil eye. When I was younger we used to wear necklaces with the eye. Now, a few years later it became a fashion trend. You can find them almost everywhere as jewellry or on your clothes. Thats why I couldn´t say no to this cool dress with the print of "Fatima´s Hand" on it.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The hamsa is a palm-shaped amulet popular throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and commonly used in jewelry and wall hangings.[1][2] Depicting the open right hand, an image recognized and used as a sign of protection in many societies throughout history, the hamsa is believed to provide defense against the evil eye. The symbol predates Christianity and Islam. In Islam, it is also known as the hand of Fatima, so named to commemorate Muhammad's daughter Fatima Zahra . Levantine Christians call it the hand of Mary, for the Virgin Mary. Jews refer to it as the hand of Miriam in remembrance of the biblical Miriam, sister of Moses  and Aaron.

My Sisters Wedding

I spent the last week in Germany visiting my family and friends. Not only did I go to see my family, but the main reason for my trip back home was my sister´s wedding.

It was a beautiful day!

I wanted to share a few images with you and hope you like them. The wedding was amazing. My family from all around the world (New York, Kosovo, Norway, Sweden) came also to celebrate this wonderful day. It was a mix of modern but also traditional albanian influences.

Also my close friend Elina from imperfect perfectionista was there as she is from the same city where I am from.

BOOM POW WOW

  pictures by: Aleksandra Rochowczyk

Shirt: Primark; Shoes: Asos; Glasses: Market

The good think about an oversized T-Shirt is that we women can turn it into a dress. This is what I did yesterday. Some funky glasses with the "mirror-effect" and ready is the outfit!

Das coole an "oversized" Shirts ist, das wir Frauen sie auch als Kleider umkombinieren können. Genau das habe ich gestern getan. Kombiniert mit einer collen Sonnenbrille und fertig ist das Outfit!

Neon Aqua

pictures by: Aleksandra Rochowczyk

Vest: H&M; Belt: H&M; Skirt: Aqua; Shoes: Asos

Old mixed with new. I bought this stunning Aqua skirt a few months ago and I fell in love with it straight away. Short in the front, long on the back. Especially the yellow neon colour makes the skirt so unique. Combined with my new vest from H&M and my old (my mum calls them stripper shoes!!--> I really don´t know why *-*) shoes from Asos.

Here we go, my outfit!

Hope you like it!!

Leather Coat: Topshop; Leather Trousers: H&M; Shoes: Zara

All Black Everything with a little Orange color splash. I think these orange High Heels by Zara are just the perfect item for Spring/Summer. Well, lets hope we will get any S/S temperatures.

I am in love with this leather coat that I stole out of my friends wardrobe. Oh yes, even bloggers run out of clothes sometimes.
