Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

Another gigantic designer colaboration with H&M is just around the corner. H&M announced its colaboration with no one less than Maison Martin Margiela. Not only does this cooperation speak for its huge brands but also for the beautiful and unique garments Margiela created. It is only a few weeks ago we had Anna Dello Russo for H&M and now there´s going to be the Margiela pieces already out in November. I don´t know about you but this is definitely my favourite colabo with the swedish house of Hennes & Mauritz. So these are my favourite items of the next collection and I am really going to stand in front of H&M trying to get at least one of them!

Die nächste gigantische Designer Kollaboration mit H&M steht vor der Tür und dies mit niemand Geringeres als Maison Martin Margiela. Diese Zusammenarbeit steht nicht nur für die rießen Namen die dahinter stecken sondern auch für die fantastischen Stücke die Margiela entworfen hat. Wir hatten doch erst die Zusammenarbeit von Anna Dello Russo mit H&M und nun kommt schon wieder eine neue Designer Zusammenarbeit im November heraus. Ich weiß ja nicht was ihr davon hält aber mich beeindruckt wirklich jedes einzelne Teil und da ich sowieso ein rießen Fan von Margiela bin ist dies auch meine Liebling- Kollaboration die das schwedische Haus von Hennes & Mauritz je hatte.

HUGO BOSS

As Hugo Boss is absolutely one of the labels I grew up with, I needed to show you some pieces of the F/W 2012 runway show. Many of you might not know that I used to work in a bank before my studies in London. Hugo Boss was always the brand I loved to dress myself up with. In my opinion this acquainted and elegant brand rediates self-confidence, poise and sophistication for women and men.

Hugo by Hugo Boss will be a part of this year´s Fashion Week in Berlin. I am really excited an can´t wait to see the new collection.

Hugo Boss gehört definitiv zu meinen Lieblingsmarken. Daher wollte ich euch gerne die Herbst/Winter 2012 Kollektion zeigen.

Viele von euch wissen nicht, das ich vor meinem Studium in London für einige Zeit in der Bank tätig war. Hugo Boss zählte zu den Marken, mit denen ich mich am liebsten eingekleidet habe. 

Dieses Label strahlt für mich selbstbewusstsein, Kraft, Sicherheit, Eleganz und Grazie aus.

Hugo by Hugo Boss wird ein Teil der Berlin Fashion Week im Juli sein. Ich kann es kaum erwarten die neue Kollektion zu sehen.

MAISON MARTIN MARGIELA for H&M

Yes the rumors are true, Maison Martin Margiela will collaborate with H&M and the collection will hit about 230 stores as well as be available to shop online on November 15.

“We are very happy to present Maison Martin Margiela pieces with H&M, offering a new interpretation of our vision,” the house said in a statement. “The democracy of our fashion has always been at the center of our creativity, and the collaboration with H&M allows us to push this instinct further. We will bring together the contrasting universes of the two houses in ways that will surprise all.”

The collaborations in the last months and years from H&M with Designers were always a must have. Only certain stores sold the garments and the accessories. They were sold out in a few minutes in the stores as well as online. This shows how wanted these collections are. I am personally a huge fan of Margiela and I am not quite sure about the collaboration. On the one hand it is really cool to be able to get a designer piece for an agreeable price, on the other hand for me it is "just" H&M and the weight of the Designer piece gets lost. But Margiela is right now one of the most wanted and most important influential designers and I am strained to see the pieces.

Ja, die Gerüchte über die Zusammenarbeit von H&M mit dem derzeit beliebtesten Designer Maison Martin Margiela sind wahr. Man wird die Kollektion in ca. 230 Läden und Online kaufen können. Die  Veröffentlichung soll am 15. November sein.

Die Zusammenarbeiten von H&M mit Designern in den letzten Monaten und Jahren waren immer sehr beliebt und nach kürzerster Zeit ausverkauft. Nur einige Läden haben die Kollektionen erhalten. Ich persönlich bin ein grosser Fan von Margiela und bin mir nicht wirklich sicher was ich über die Zusammenarbeit mit H&M denken soll. Auf einer Seite ist es sehr toll Designer Kleidung für einen angenehmen Preis kaufen zu können, auf der anderen Seite ist und bleibt es trotzdem "nur" H&M und der Wert und die Besonderheit des Designers geht verloren. Jedoch ist Margiela im moment einer der beliebtesten Designer und er hat einen extrem grossen Einfluss in der Modeindustrie. Ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Kollektion.

Air Yeezy 2

Finally, the day of the "Air Yeezy´s 2" has arrived.

I just can imagine the excitement of the sneaker freaxxx waiting for days and weeks in front of the release shops like here on the pictures in Berlin in front of  Solebox. The hype is incomprehensible. They turned the streets into a camp.

The shoes are already offered on ebay for 2000 dollars, even though they ain´t even out now. Sad I couldn´t  go. I would have loved to be one of them ;)

Kanye, what are you doing to these people?

Helmut Lang Outfit

Helmut Lang, you ROCK!

Here are two absolute cool and classy outfits I chose from the Helmut Lang collection. These leather trousers combined with the asymmetric cotton sweater is a cool and easy look for the day. At night I would love to wear the asymmetric jersey skirt with the jersey bra top. 

It´s all about ASYMMETRIC this season.

With both Helmut Lang outfits I would wear the simple basic sandale´s from Zara.

Designer Holly Fulton

Holly Fulton is a young UK based Designer who absolutely takes my breath away with every single piece of her collection.

She is one of the up and coming Designers supported by NEWGEN (New Generation), which is a organisation who supports young designers at the beginning of their career, especially with financial and press-related means.

She is known for her strong and recognizable design signature. When looking at Holly´s collections, it becomes obvious that she is fond of using bold, hand-drawn graphics and digital prints, geometric fashion and striking accessories. This combined with luxurious materials gives you a feel of modern elegance.

Every single piece in her collection radiates strength, uniqueness and, because of the strong colours and designs, conspicuousness. But yet her clothes are simultaneously elegant and feminine.

Holly Fulton attended already five seasons at the London Fashion week. She is also the winner of several awards including the Swarovski Award for ‘Developing Talent in Accessories’ in 2009.

She can yet count several international stockists from all around the world, such as Dubai, USA, Italy, Hong Kong, Turkey and many more. This proves her skills and her strong reputation in the fashion industry.
