This is what I call fun. Me and my friends celebrated and enjoyed my last night in Germany. 

Seven girls in one apartment. Instead of calling a cab we decided to let one drive all of us in one car! ONE car! Thanks god the police did not stop us! Ladies and Gentlemen. DO NOT IMITATE!

Das nenn ich doch mal einen gelungenen Abend. Meinen letzten Abend vor meiner Rückreise nach London musste ich selbstverständlich mit meinen Freundinnen feiern. Sieben Weiber, eine Wohnung, EIN K L E I N E S Auto, zwei Diskotheken! Ja wir haben uns tatsächlich alle in ein Auto gequetscht. Bitte nicht NACHMACHEN! ;)

Shopping Queen - VOX

It´s crazy to see how fast the time went by. We did the shoot for the "Shopping-Queen" scene at the end of Mai. It was broadcasted at the beginning of July and now it´s almost September!

I wanted to show you now a few "behind the scenes" pictures and videos that I have taken during the shoot. As I was sick for a while and then went on vacation and had hardly internet reception, I was not able to show you these pictures earlier. 

We had a really cool team from VOX and it was such a funny day shooting with them as you can tell by the video I did in the bus. It also was great to get to know the German Designer "Guido Maria Kretschmer" who is a really kind and sweet person.

Es ist verrückt wie schnell die Zeit vergeht. Die Aufnahmen für die "Shopping Queen" Szene auf VOX haben wir Ende Mai gedreht. Die Szene von mir und meiner Freundin Sabine kam im Juli raus und nun haben wir schon fast September.

Nun wollte ich euch endlich die "backstage" Foto´s und Video´s zeigen, die ich hinter den Kulissen gemacht habe. Aufgrund von Krankheit und einem sehr langen Urlaub mit sehr schlechter Internetverbindung, war es mir nicht möglich euch die Foto´s früher zu zeigen. 

Das VOX-Team war klasse und wir hatten einen großen Spaß mit dem Team während der Dreharbeiten. Es war super den Designer "Guido Maria Kretschmer" persönlich kennen zu lernen. Eine talentierter und absolut liebenswürdiger Mann.

Shopping Queen Preview

Perfectly matching the time for the Berlin Fashion Week, the German TV channel VOX will broadcast the "Shopping Queen" Show with the theme "Berlin Fashion Week - Front Row".

As I already mentioned one month ago in my blog post which you can read here:

SHOPPING QUEEN - VOX 

my friend "Sabine" participated on this show and asked me to accompany her to make sure to find the perfect outfit, matching the theme. Finding an outfit with hair, make up & accessories in only 4 hours and only having a few stores as selection was not quite easy. You can see the show from the 02 July - 06 July. The show where me and my friend are attending will be broadcasted on Friday, 06 July, 3 pm.

Passend zur "Berlin Fashion Week" die nächste Woche stattfinden wird, strahlt "VOX" die Show "Shopping Queen" mit dem perfekten Motto "Berlin Fashion Week - Erste Reihe" aus. Die Show wird ab dem 02. Juli - 06. Juli gezeigt.

Wie bereits vor einem Monat in meinem Blog-Post erwähnt, den ihr euch nochmal hier ansehen könnt SHOPPING QUEEN - VOX, begleite ich meine Freundin Sabine, um das perfekte Outfit, getreu dem Motto zu finden. Hört sich einfacher an als es wirklich ist, denn wir hatten nur ganze vier Stunden Zeit um das Outfit und die Accessoires zu finden, Make up & Haare zu machen und dies auch nur in begrenzten Läden.

Die Ausstrahlung der Show an der meine Freundin und ich teilnehmen, wird nächsten Freitag, den 06.07. um 15 Uhr gezeigt.

Bitte alle anschauen, wird sehr sehr lustig! ;)

Summer In The City

This is what I call beach flavour without a long flight. Like every year, "Nuremberg" spoils their denizen with a large area full of sand in the middle of the central. Giving them a warm and beautiful summer feeling with deck chairs, cocktails, food, a small swimming pool and many more, every year from the 16 May till the 22 July. A matchless event that made me and my friend enjoy the whole day there.

"Summer in the city" heißt es nun wieder seit dem 16. Mai bis zum 22. Juli. Wie jedes Jahr präsentiert Nürnberg genau in der Innenstadt eine riessen Fläche voll bedeckt mit Sand. "Insel Schütt" heißt dieses einzigartige Event das die Nürnberger Einwohner (inkl. Umgebung) jedes Jahr verzaubert. Liegestühle, Cocktails, Essen, Sand, ein kleiner Swimmingpool und einiges mehr gibt es auf der kleinen Insel Nürnberg´s zu sehen. Die Stimmung ist genial und brachte mich und meine Freundinnen mal wieder zum relaxen dorthin.

The cuban restaurant "Cubano" in my town "Nuremberg" conjured us some delicious quesadillas last night. Typical me, no dinner without any dessert. One of the best alcoholic free cocktails is the "strawberry diaquiri virgin". It is just the perfect refreshing cocktail and dessert after the hearty meal. The perfect match to my red cocktail is my new red jacket which I recently bought in Zara.

Das kubanische Restaurant "Cubano" in meiner Stadt "Nürnberg" zauberte uns gestern Abend ein paar köstliche Quesadillas. Selbstverständlich brauch ich nach dem Essen auch eine Nachspeise. Eines der besten alkoholfreien Cocktails ist der "Strawberry Diaquiri Virgin". Es ist ein wirklich erfrischender Cocktail und zugleich eine absolut leckere Nachspeise. Perfekt nach so einer deftigen Mahlzeit. Passend zu meinem roten Cocktail trug ich meine rote Jacke die ich vor kurzem im Zara gekauft habe.

Nails

I am going to kill my nail designer´s nerves today. I am having an appointment to refill them like every month. I just don´t know which design I should choose. My ideas are running out of my mind after 5 years of nail art.

I hope they will look as funky as always.

SHOPPING QUEEN - VOX

This Thursday I flew to Germany for a TV Show called "Shopping Queen" which you can see on the German TV Channel VOX.

The "Shopping Queen" is a show which gives five girls/women the opportunity to find a whole Outfit, including accessories, make up and hair in only FOUR hours. You might think that is easy, but don´t judge too early.

Every week, five women compete against each other on five consecutive days (from Monday to Friday), just to be THAT woman with the best style after a certain theme. The winner is not only fighting for the name "The Shopping Queen", but also for 1000 Euro and a 500 Euro Outfit which they have to buy during their four hours Shopping Tour. The Problem is that the ladies are not allowed to use something from their own wardrobes and they are only allowed to visit particular clothing stores. They will only find out which stores they are on the shooting day, which makes the search for the perfect Outfit even more difficult.

The German Designer and Stylist, Guido Maria Kretschmer will crown the Queen on the last day of the Shopping Week.

My close friend Sabine, was one of the five girls participating in the show in our town "Nürnberg". She asked me to accompany her during the shopping trip and of course I had to say "yes". Bad that we didn´t know that the weather will be freaking hot (33 degrees).

It was hot, the time was limited and we were literally sweating our a**** off. You will see the whole show in ca. one month and I can´t wait for you guys to see my legendary fall on German TV. Yes, I fell down, laughed and jumped up. The funny thing about it is that I wore high heels. I know, you might think I was stupid but I will tell you more about the whole story when the show comes out.

IT´S TOUGH TO BE SO POPULAR

EASTER BREAK! And I decided to spend my easter holidays in good old Germany. My Home! I`m here since Monday and I enjoy every day more and more. Before I forget, look who I brought back home with me. My friend Elina from Imperfect Perfectionista. If you guys didn´t know, we both grew up in the same town in Germany and both ended up living in London.

Yesterday, we went to my favourite Japanese Restaurant "Osaka" and after some good sushi and my "Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box" we went to the cinema for the 3D Movie "John Carter". The movie was about 2,5 hours long and I am still wondering that I didn´t fall asleep.

By the way...IT´S TOUGH TO BE SOPOPULAR? Kind of ironic, ain´t it. I borrowed this jumper from my one and only from STIMULATE THE SENSES. We bought it in Berlin last year. The leather details on the elbows and on the written makes it very peerless. This young and dinamic label counts to my favourite ones even though they design only for men. I really love every single piece. Please check out the Designer and his collections.
