Yesterday I tried really hard to do some posing for you but the sun was too strong. So instead of posing I jumped and danced around and most importantly enjoyed the sun! I´m missing the summer and counting the days. I opened my closet and this amazing Oversized Colourblocked Denim Cagoule stared at me. It is absolutely one of my favourite denim jackets. I just love denim jackets and especially this one because of its colourblocked design and the zip through funnel neck with hood. I knew it would probably look too boyish with some sneakers, that´s why I decided to wear my black boots from Asos.

As promised I´ll show you now some items of the London Fashion Week Exhibition. Lets start with the breathtaking jewellery from designer Mawi! I couldn´t stop looking at every single piece and I am sure you will feel the same! Celebrities such as Kate Moss, Scarlett Johanssen, Kylie Minogue and Alexa Chung have all been seen wearing Mawi. I am waiting for the day I can call myself a proud "Mawi Customer". She is such a kind and talented person!

Erickson Beamon! Two pieces were stucking in my head the whole day. The people who know me know that I love, love, loooveee exceptional accessories! And this is what I would call exceptional! A belly & chest chain which seems like a Top, but is all over with chains and these sun glasses with colourful stones on it.

Why wearing shoes with ordinary heels when you can wear Alain Quilici´s shoes with heels formed like a dog! Amazing! Even "Beyonce" fell in love with his shoes.

Joanne Stoker impressed me with her supa fly "bubble gum" shoes.

SUPREME S/S 2012 Collection - Kate Moss

This T-Shirt is at the top of my wish list. Although I am not the biggest fan of T-Shirts with Celebs printed on, I have to get this one! Kate Moss is doing her thing and New York´s streets are fully plastered with her posters. 2000 people were standing in front of the store to get the shirt of Supreme´s Spring/Sommer 2012 Collection.

At the sixth day of the London Fashion Week me and my "Blogger Crew" decided to dedicate the day fully to the LFW Exhibition. The 2012 Pre-Fall Showrooms were breathtaking. We have met the jewellery Designers Tomasz Donocik and Mawi. I have also seen some shoes that made me speachless! I want all of themmm!

I wanted to wear something more comfortable so I chose my black long skirt which I got from Topshop. As I went through my friends closet, this bleached jeans jacket with leather details on both arms catched my eyes. So I had to match my make up to it...That´s the result ;)

London Fashion Week Day 5

The 5th day of the London Fashion week was amazing. We have met a lot of great people. My highlight of the day was meeting the FACEHUNTER (Yvan Rodic) himself! As if that was not enough, he took some pictures from me with his "famous" little black camera. Such a friendly and pleasant person!

The next big thing was "Ozwald Boateng´s" Show in the evening. Ozwald Boateng is a Designer, known for his trademark twist on classic British tailoring style. The show was held at his store, which has a classic interior design and stands out even more through the black walls. I will tell you more details about the show in the next few days.

The Fashion Week in London just arrived, so did the whole fashion world! The Somerset House in London was full of Designers, Models, Journalists, Fashionistas, Bloggers, Photographers and me in the middle of them.

It was an amazing and exciting but at the same time exhausting day after six hours on high heels, hundreds of pictures and some interviews. I enjoyed the unusual warm weather and took the opportunity to leave my winter jacket at home. We have seen the LFW Exhibition and some great Jewelery Designers. More to them on an extra post.

The Pure Fashion Trade Show is every year a big thing for Designers and Buyers. As I mentioned yesterday, I was a part of the Pure London Show and had the opportunity to see some of the Designers Catwalks. I have seen a lot, but one show was really catching my eyes. It was the Catwalk Show of "Istanbul Fashion Atelier". A young brand from Instanbul, which is based in London and consists of eleven talented Designers! Yes, eleven! It was the simplicity and at the same time the uniqueness and eye catching cuts which made me run to their stand. Their line is really classy, young & dynamic. I have met the Designers and was really suprised by their kindness. Their inspiration comes from a mix of cultural background as well as their dynamic and big city, Istanbul. Their clothing line stands out from the crowed because of their really clean and deliberate cuts. They combine materials such as silk fabrics with metals, and metal fibre-knitwear with jean, demin and leather, shantung / crepe / chiffon, silk / cupro and bengaline. The editing of their clothing is really special.

I really fell in love with the first two outfits from above and two accessories made me even think about them after the show. It was this huge silver ring/bracelet from the Designer "Gülcan Ardic" and the transparent gloves from the Designer "Özge Nalbantoglu". I have to get them!

What a hectic day! I have been to the PURE LONDON today, the UK´s favourite fashion buying destination. We were running from Catwalk Shows to Trend Forecast Presentations for A/W 12/13 from WGSN, all day. We had the opportunity to sit in the front row to see exactly the shape and and the fabrics that have been used by Designers for the next A/W collection for this year. I have seen a lot of different inspiring & great designs. We have seen Yumi, Cannisse, Derhy and many more. I will tell you more about my favourite Designers in the next days. What I can tell you right now is that a lot of wild & animal prints, spicy colours and classy as well as sporty looks are coming.

Yesterday we decided to treat ourselves and forgot about diets for one evening. We went to an american diner "Tinsel Town" which is in Oxford Circus. You should have seen my eyes, I wanted to order everything. From Hot Dogs to Chicken Wings and Milkshakes in all flavours.

This post is not really a post about what I have worn, it is more about the diner and its great interior design I fell in love with.

Although it is still cold in London we enjoyed the sun in brick blane today. I bought this jumper in a vintage store at brick lane last year and today I wore it for the first time. Wide shoulder pads and soft material is what makes the sweater so unique. I started the day with a simple outfit, mixed with my shorts from "Zara" and my boots from "Timberland" which are still the best, warmest and waterproofed boots I know. After searching through my lipstick collection I chose the pink one from Yves Saint Laurent.

Hairshow Launch Party 310112

Last Tuesday me and my friend attended the 1st Hairshow Event of Gareth Smith in London. Guess what, my cam´s battery was dead...the second time! So I decided to take a few pictures with my phone, sorry for the bad quality...

A make up artist and hair designers were at the show, so for all those who came with a bad hair look had the best opportunity to get styled. We got a gift bag with an eye shadow from "benefit" which is one of my favourite make up companies.

Today I fell in love with this long grey jersey skirt from "Topshop". Thousands of outfits were running through my mind. It´s just a simple piece but with the right combination you might just catch peoples eyes!

Here are two examples of how I would combine the skirt at Night and at Day time.

At my night outfit I combined the skirt with a crazy leather Jacket with flashy shoulders, leather gloves with a silver zip and a black clutch. On my day outfit I kept it simple with a grey jacket, my creepers and a knot on the skirt.

I proudly present my new Supreme beanie. I was strolling through SOHO and of course I had to check out what´s new in London´s recently openend Supreme flagship store. Honestly, I am not really thrilled about the store in London, maybe because I´ve seen the one in New York. Their assortment is not the biggest and the Supreme Online Shop has no connection to the Store in London. Funny thing but true. Anyway, for the beginning it´s still pretty cool. For those who haven´t heard that Amber Rose is planning to do music, it´s offical now. Ahhm, I´m not really sure what to say about this. She´s one of my favorites but I can´t imagine her dancing and jumping around as a singer on stage. And if you ever heared her talking on interviews, her voice sounds really different in her song. Anyway, let’s look at the shoes that inspired the insanity.

Space Jams - These are the 11th Air Jordans just like the Concords. Around Christmas time a couple of years ago, they were re-released and people went just as crazy as they did last week. They’re famous for MJ rocking them during his movie Space Jam.

Air Yeezy - In 2009, Kanye linked with Nike to release a few Air Yeezys. The shoes only went out to a few stores and the hood went crazy. People were camped out for days and had to spend $300 or so to get a pair. Now, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a pair for less than a stack.

Air Jordan 3 - These originally dropped in the late-80s and had people robbing for kicks. When they were re-released on Black Friday this year people went pretty insane again. Of course it paled in comparison to the Concords a month later.

Louis Vuitton Hudsons - Not only did Ye’ drop the Nikes, he also put out some shoes with Louis Vuitton. Good luck getting these for less than a couple of thousand bucks.

Nike Air Mag - People have been getting ready for these shoes ever since the second Back To The Future movie came out. Now they’ve been released just for auction and for tens of thousands of bucks. How do you wear these and NOT get robbed?

Nike Dunk Tiffany - These are recent releases and people are going Internet crazy over them. They’re Tiffany blue and snakeskin on the leather. You guessed it, they’re going for about a thou.

Yesterday we celebrated my brothers Birthday at a great mexican restaurant in Nürnberg. Since I am home my days are fully packed with eating, from morning till evening. God, I´m about to gain a lot of weight. Anyway, the food was really the best mexican food I´ve ever eaten. I choosed to order the famous "Chimichanga" which makes me still dream about it. A chimichanga is a burrito prepared with a choice of meat, vegetables, and spices. Deep-fried to a golden perfection, with cheese and SPICY sauce. The most important part of the day was my date with my famous nail designer. London, when it comes to that part you have really disappointed me. Finally I could let her create something great on my nails. I would call this creation "bling bling" or "disco ball". Whatever you might call it, you should visit her salon.

Guess what I did on my first day back in Germany this Friday...talkin´ to my family? - No, spending time with my friends? - No, going out? - NO!

I was spending my time driving this crazy bitch through my town. As for a car lover like me, it was really hard not to drive a car three months while I was in London. Of course I had to exploit it the very first second as I came back home. Thanks to the nice officer who didn´t took my driver´s license from me because I drove too fast and overlooked the red traffic light! By the way, I already lost my license this year so I was really glad this time :D...After ridin´ dirty, me and my familiy celebrated my cousins sixth Birthday at a great Greek restaurant.

AMAZING night. We went to the Hoxton Bar & Grill to enjoy some great Quesadillas. After that, we went to "Delilah´s" concert, a young talented newcomer from London.

Music is the definiton of life, love and happiness and she seemed to unterstand it completely. I enjoyed every single song and every single voice that came out of her. She is the imagination of a perfect singer. That girl just blew me away yesterday. A young singer, 20 years old with a big voice and songwriting skills. She has been on world tour with Chase & Status, worked with Plan B an many more. Her songs are deep with a little dark influence, really unique. Listen to her songs, I am hundred percent sure she gonna catch you as well! We will definitely hear more about her in the future.

"Fashion Bloggers are stupid"

"Oh no, not another freelance fashion blogger!" ‘They´re all the same!’ ‘They are just stupid, deal only with clothes and glamorous stuff and have only things on their mind like’ “what is the next Gucci Mucci collection?” and “what am I gonna wear tonight?”!

Thank God that there is hope for the blogger world and thank God that there are really - even if it´s just a small percentage - but there are really some bloggers out there that have a personal life, indeed. Not only a life full of clothes, shoes, bags and all that blingy stuff, but a life far beyond. I mean does anyone of you guys out there know what´s going on right now in our world? Did anyone hear about the Iran conflict? Did anyone hear about the tibetan nuns that set themselves on fire because they are oppressed by China? What about all the deseases in the world?

So just a little story about me. Yes, I am a blogger and yes I am a fashion marketing student, and yes I have worked at a bank for almost 5 years and still have my interest in the economic and finance sector and still keep updating my general knowledge. Just a little tip for all those who are getting on my nerves, you should do that too! I mean who wants to die stupid with a Louis Vuitton in their grave?!! If in the town u live in, the employment rates drop and businesses move away and the income level decreases and you loose your job, how are you going to afford all that shit that you’re wearing? Do you really think you’re cool just because of your new car that you’re posting pictures of every 5 minutes on Facebook? Or your Louboutins that you think make you more attractive? I´m not saying that I don´t wear all that girlie-girl designer stuff, oh my, I would die for these just like every other fashion lover, but I wouldn´t buy them if I can´t, just to put them on my blog and eat cornflakes all month because I have not enough money to buy proper food or go out and have a nice evening with my friends at a restaurant. There is more out there. Do yourself a favor and by your good friend a gift that comes from your heart. Do yourself a favor and save the money that you earn to go on holiday, learn from different cultures and see something from the world. Do yourself a favor and grab the newspaper next to you, the next time you take the tube. Stop acting like you think people want to see you. Be yourself, that´s the only way to success and recognition.

Don´t take this post too serious, you should know that it´s not really against fashion bloggers, especially because i´m one of the bloggers. It´s just a post to make you aware that life goes by so fast and when you´re on the end of your life, you wished you have seen more or learned more and to make you aware that you shouldn´t waste your time just on material things. Let the world know that fashion bloggers are not stupid!

At least the shopping and eating part worked out. I met a girl with some great "Chanel" vintage shoes, unfortunately she didn´t want to sell them to me ;)

OHHH, we had such an amazing day at the Winter Wonderland in London. I was running around like a little child, looking for my favorite food and sweets. After eating so much we decided to drive some of these funny rides which you can see below. Not the perfect timing to drive these crazy rides when your stomach is full but it was great and I know, we look hilarious. It´s definitely worth it to visit the Wonderland!

Rihanna collobrates with Emporio Armani for her very first collection

Rihanna has teamed up with Emporio Armani for her first fashion installment. Vogue UK reports that the sultry pop icon has created an abridged line of biker jackets, jeans, tees and lingerie pieces for the Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans lines.
Rihanna will be the face of both brands, and this new capsule will come with some extra perks too. It isn’t really clear if Rihanna was hands on in designing these pieces, but she was indeed the inspiration.

V & A Museum - POSTMODERNISM 1970-1990

Today I spent time at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the world´s greatest museum of art and design. I´ve visited the POSTMODERNISM - Style and Subversion 1970-1990 Exhebition. I have to say that I was really impressed by the different art and designs that the V&A has to offer. Unfortunately I wasn´t allowed to take any pictures and my battery was empty. Anyhow, I could catch some pieces for you. Three pictures below were taken with my phone, sorry for the quality.

Postmodernism = It emphasises the role of language, power relations, and motivations in the formation of ideas and beliefs. In particular it attacks the use of sharp classifications such as male versus female, straight versus gay, white versus black, and imperial versus colonial; it holds realities to be plural and relative, and to be dependent on whom the interested parties are and of what their interests consist. It supports the belief that there is no absolute truth and that the way in which different people perceive the world is subjective. Postmodernism has influenced many cultural fields, including religion, literary criticism, sociology, linguistics, architecture, history, anthropology, visual arts, and music.

No matter what you say, but the left shoe above was designed and invented for me! Absolutely my colors.

left shoe: 'E-Shoe' (A high-heeled shoe guitar)
The strappy high-heels were fabricated by couture shoe designer "Max Kibardin" for
stage perfomances.

right shoe: 'Armadillo shoes' as seen on Lady Gaga
Alexander McQueen had the ability to colloborate with huge range of skilled makers.
His line of Armadillo shoes ultimately involved contributions from 100 people. The
form was inspired by a shape of a ballet dancer.

Grace Jones
This picture is one of three images of Grace Jones, that shows the artificial transformation of her into a synthetic creation. They were fabricated by her partner and stylist 'Jean-Paul Goude', out of many private photographic fragments.

There is nothing better than spending the evening in a nice restaurant, eating one of my fav salads and watching a great movie in the cinema. I am a big fan of movies, unfortunately I tend to forget which movie I´ve seen or I just forget the content after a while. Another funny secret about me is that I fall asleep easily while whatching a movie! I watched Justin Timberlake´s new movie "In Time". I liked the movie but there wasn´t enough action if you ask me. We kids in London had pretty much luck with the weather the last weeks. Sad that it turned so cold today. As you can see I refuse to wear my winter jacket. Wondering how long I can run through this! I bought this Shirt that I am wearing in Milan. The words on it are so true. Try everything you want and you dream about! Everything your heart desires. Let no one tell you what you can or can not achieve!

I´m am the biggest Halloween fan and I was so excited this year. I really don´t know how to describe this crazy night, just look at the picture. The queue in front of the club went up to China. Even after 2,5 hours waiting and killing ourselves in this queue, we couldn´t get inside of the club. It felt like whole London decided to come to "Cirque du soir" on this day. Thanks god we got home safe.

Nürnberg(Nuremberg), my hometown in Germany where I was born and grew up. I know every corner, every bar and club, and it feels like I know almost every single person who lives there. About 500 000 inhabitans which makes me feel like it´s a village compared with London and it´s 8 000 000 inhabitants. Not having your own car and getting used to tubes and overgrounds, buses and taxis that make you broke. I´ve been living in London for almost four weeks now, which means the last time I´ve did my nails was over four weeks and I am pretty surprised that my claws are still alive. I´m desperately looking for a new nail designer in London, and guess what, its f**** harder as I thought. If someone out there knows a good nail designer, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. To be honest with you, I miss this little town. Everything is so near and so uncomplicated, not hectic and not loud. Well, this life is over now. Gentiana, welcome to London! ;) If you are in Nürnberg/Germany, make sure to go to "Tapasitos". Great spanish tapas/food and delicious cocktails.

It´s unbelievable, these pictures were taken almost three weeks ago, and I am running around with a Shirt and Shorts. These weather changes making me nuts, but the autumn/winter is arrived now in London and the Shirts and Shorts are gone. This night I spend some time at a nice restaurant in central london. "Piccollino". Nice atmosphare and good food.

I can´t help myself when it comes to overnees, and yes, I am mixing them with a quiet sporty outfits. That´s me! Bought these shoese two years ago in Italy and their still one of my favourites. Simple Short from Zara and Shirt with printed logo "RUN DMC".

Fashion and Textile Museum - Tommy Nutter Exhibition

Today I spent some time at the F & T Museum in London. For all those who didn´t know, Tommy Nutter (17 April 1943 - 17 August 1992), was a British tailor, famous for reinventing the Savile Row suit in the 1960s. He was a tailoring rebel who introduced rakish silhouettes and jaunty cocktail-lounge styles to the bespoke classes and the emerging classless celebrities of the Sixties.
Until his untimely death in 1992, he dressed everyone, from the Beatles and the Rolling Stones, to Elton John, Micheal Jackson and Diana Ross, from Sir Hardy Amies and Lord and Lady Harlech to the Duke of Bedford and Sir Roy Strong.

Posh people and rock people, just the way it should be. Designers like Vivienne Westwood and Tom Ford say that they´re still inspired by Tommy Nutter´s way of design.

It´s Monday and it´s "Freak Show" time. Cirque du soir, a club in London which is definitely worth it to go, even on a Monday when you have to wake up early the next day. Cirque du soir is well known for it´s crazy show and artistic perfomances, crazy dancers and people in crazy outfits. Yes, this club is crazy crazy crazy. You wake up every sunday and ask yourself "what should I do on this lazy sunday"?! Well, if you ask me you will definitely get this answer: "BRICK LANE". For all those who don´t know, Brick Lane is a street in East London, where you can find food from every countries, various vintage shops and people with that typical London style. It´s almost a must to go there. After eating and shopping through the vintage stores we entry the club which opens around 5 pm. So if you ever get the chance to be in London on a Sunday, don´t miss this street!

Guess what, I spent the day at the fun fair, again! Eating and driving roaller coasters! Such a beautiful September day. Can´t believe that summer is over and the autum/winter time is knocking on our doors. Today I combined my chilled "Seven for all mankind" bootcut jeans with a summer jacket from "Zara" with some comfortable wedges which I bought from "H&M" two years ago and found them 2day! As it wasn´t so warm, I had to wear a scarf, so I decided to wear my "Louis Vuitton" scarf with the leopard print. I have to tell u guys that I am not a big fan of leopard prints but I liked this one and had to buy it. One of my favorite accessoire that I wore 2day is this beautiful "Yves Saint Laurent" chain in the shape of a heart, which I bought in Berlin this year! Did I mention these glasses!!? My mum used 2 wear them almost 25 years ago! Vintage baby!!

One thing you should know about me is that I am obsessed with sweets. I am one of the biggest funfair fans, not only because of it´s delicious food, but also because of these crazy roller costers. I turn back to a child when I visit funfairs. After 6 weeks vacation on the beach I came back home to Germany and enjoyed a beautiful day with my friends. Combining my transparent blouse from "H&M" with my "Levis" shorts and the Dr. Martens, no one could stop me from eating all these yummy sweets. Did I mention that I am a sunglass collector, well you might see me running around with them in the night!

However, there are also great rewards that come from being creative. The sense of accomplishment and meaningful contribution is enormous. We have to use it or we lose it. Are you being as creative as you could be? It seems we all have a knack for creativity when we are kids, but then we tend to lose it as we grow older. We become stifled. We worry to much about what other people will think. We suppress our creativity and then we wonder why we aren’t achieving much in life.
